Sussex RFU

It is the policy of Sussex RFU, that every Team, in every Club shall, unless disqualified, be eligible to play in a League and a Knockout competition.
An exception is made where a First XV plays at the National level.

A 'Club' competition is for First XV's, a 'Team' competition is for all Teams below First XV level.
RFU leagues, at National and Divisional levels from 1-8 are for First XV's, at level 9 Sussex 1 includes 'lower XV's.
Sussex Merit Leagues, are for all XV's, from First XV downwards, according to strength.

Shepherd Neame, brewers of 'Spitfire Bitter, are well established as sponsors of Competitions in Sussex, Kent and Essex.
