RFU Legal Helpline

The RFU Legal Helpline gives every rugby administrator access to initial free legal advice. Rugby administrators can simply call 0844 56 18177 and quote the scheme number 81066. Advisors are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week (excluding Public Holidays)*. Any Club, Constituent Body or Referee Society administrator can use the service. Advice is free and calls are charged at 5p per minute when calling from a BT landline, mobile phone charges may vary. Croner Consulting Ltd, a leading specialist company which supports 400,000 businesses in the UK, provide the service.

RFU First Aid Provision Guidance

First aid guidance and revised RFU Emergency First Aid Course Please find above some guidance for clubs regarding the medical provision they should have in place for matches and training. This is not new regulation or standards, it simply helps clubs understand the requirements that have always been in place at all levels of the game. To support this The RFU have also revised and relaunched the RFU Emergency First Aid course – a comprehensive, nationally recognised qualification suitable for Rugby volunteers. www.rfu.com/firstaid includes this information, which will be promoted to clubs through Touchline articles, Ezines and presentations at regional club workshops.
