Rules and Regulations

These regulations refer to Adult (over 18) Players - go to Youth & Schools  > Rules & Regulations, for under-18 players procedures.

Generally speaking, Rules are concerned with the Playing the game, under the Laws of Rugby Union as laid down by the International Rugby Board
Regulations lay down the conditions under which the game is played, the number and eligibility of Players and the to administer the match and report the results.

Laws, Rules, and Regulations vary according to the age of the players, the Competitions, and even for various stages of the same competition. Ignorance is no excuse, and not taking trouble to find out before a match can lead to exclusion or points loss.
